Terra Nova arrives in the USA!

At Terra Nova we pride ourselves on making the worlds lightest tents, as proven by our successive Guinness World Records for the lightest production tent available.
We develop our own range of cutting edge materials and use these along with intelligent design ideas to create tents that are lightweight, strong and easy to use. Our backpacking and geodesic mountain tents are all double walled for superior ventilation and weather proofing, ensuring that whatever the weather and whatever the terrain you have the best possible chance to remain dry.

Our tents have always been popular in North America where all too often tent manufacturers struggle to acheive low weights by producing single wall or heavily meshed tents, sacrificing the comfort and range of use for the customer. We now have a small selection of retailers who specilaise in ultralite backpacking that can advise and supply our US customers.

The Laser Photon is the current Guinness World Record holder at 1lb10oz. This single person, double wall tent was designed for use in Ultra Marathons but has been welcomed by ultra light backpackers who need a reliable shelter for single overnight trips. The previous record holder the Laser Competition (1lb14oz) is still available for those who like to travel that little bit further.
