Mountain Marathon Evening @ Accelerate, Sheffield

Once again the OMM is approaching, and mountain marathon teams from far and wide are getting ready to converge on Dartmoor for the original and biggest mountain marathon on the calendar. For those who are new to the madness that is endurance racing, or if you are entering a higher class for the first time, or even if you just want that extra spur to get ready for this years event, the Mountain Marathon Evening at Accelerate in Sheffield, Yorkshire on Thursday 14th October could be just the ticket.

Details of the event can be found at the Accelerate Facebook page, but will include:

Our very own Ali, who will be advising on Terra Nova products and pitching tents. The Laser Competition, Laser Photon Elite and lightweight Laser packs will feature heavily!
Team Accelerate will be on hand to share navigating and route finding skills
Woodhead Mountain Rescue will be covering mountain safety for runners
And of course, Accelerate's friendly and knowlegeable staff will also be present to advise on kit selection, packing, and rucksack choice

You can also expect a raffle in aid of Mountain Rescue (prizes to be won!), along with other special offers. It's a really good evening, and a chance to get together with like minded people whilst getting the lowdown on the latest developments in the world of Adventure Racing.
