Review
The February issue of TGO Magazine features their winter gloves test, and once again extremities gloves were consistently rated at the top of their categories.
Rather than throw all of the gloves together and try to pick a winner, Trail seperated them into different end users and rated each one accordingly. In a wide-ranging review the extremities gloves were consistently coming up trumps, as our combinations of clever designs and technical fabrics shrugged off the winter weather.
Our classic extremities Sticky Thicky was nominated "Best Year-Round Fleece" glove for it's long comfortable cuff, stretch fabric and grippy silicone palm print.
The new extremities Super Windy (pictured above) was also given full marks and crowned "Best Winter Trail" glove. This time it was the combination of features, a light weight, and an excellent shape coupled with a thick pile-fleece lining that made The Super Windy stand out from the rest.
An honourable mention should also go to the Multisport GTX, which scored 4 out of 5 in the Winter Trail category. The extensive leather palm, lack of bulk and Gore Tex XCR lining were all highly thought of, and the Multisport GTX would make a good choice for those who rate the need for dexterity and flexibility above that of warmth.
