Pete Macfarlane, the guru of all that is lightweight at Trail Magazine, picked the Terra Nova Laser 20L out as his favourite daypack of the moment. Of the packs on show it was both the lightest and cheapest and attracted praise for managing "to put a comfortable, stable harness onto a pack made of gossamer-thin fabric that carries sublimely". The Laser 20L has been designed for transporting smaller loads without adding to the weight, and is the lightest, fully featured 20L pack on the market at only 328g with a proper hip belt and hydration pocket.
