Chris Townsend had the first exclusive review of the Superlite Solar 2.2 for TGO Magazine, and was quick to award it their "TGO Recommended" status.

By taking the old Solar 2 tent then adding a door and changing the fabrics to those used in the Laser tent we've come up with "an excellent tent that gives new life to an established design". It's not only lighter, but also far easier for two people to use. The Solar 2.2 is also light enough to be used as a single person tent for those that like to spread out a bit, and the "masses of space for gear storage" means that "theres plenty of room for two in the inner".

"Anyone looking for a two person backpacking tent should seriously consider it - as well as those who find solo tents a little cramped."
