Review

The Laser Competition is now well established as an fantastic choice for lightweight backpacking, even if it is no longer the lightest tent commercially available (a record now held by our own Laser Photon). The combination of excellant internal space, a roomy porch and a weight of less than 1kg has led to TGO Magazine awarding it a recommendation and 4 out of 5 in it's latest one-person tents review.

Reviewer Chris Townsend comments on the "amazingly low weight of the Laser Competition - less than half that of the similar sized [Hilleberg] Akto", and the fact that despite this the tent has the strength to cope with bad weather - "I had no concerns about it collapsing in 40mph winds". This will come as no surprise to the thousands of Laser Competition owners worldwide, but is further proof that for one person backpacking you need look no further.
