Terra Nova Laser Competition tent continues to be the Best in Test at Trail Magazine

Since it first arrived (under the name Laserlite) back in 2003 the Terra Nova Laser Competition has progressed from a radical new concept to become an instant classic and the must-have tent to have for lightweight backpacking. This ascent to greatness can be measured by the consistently fantastic reviews the tent has recieved, first purely due to it's incredible low weight (now less than a kilo packed, 860g minimum) but in recent years also because of it's low pack-size, ease of use and durability.

This tradition of excellence was continued in Trail Magazine's one-person tents review of March 2009. The Laser Competition was the only tent to achieve a 5 star rating, and walked away with another "Best In Test" crown. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the Laser Competition's success is that it is also considerably less money than most other top-end solo tents, being well under £300.
