When long periods of exposure to extreme winter conditions are expected, consider adding snow valances to your tent.

These keep draughts to a minimum and provide space for snow or rocks to be used to secure the tent. Tents can then be pitched more easily on snow covered or rocky ground, where pegs can be difficult to use.

We can fit these to any new Terra Nova tent in our UK factory (please phone or email us to request this before ordering your tent), or they can be retro fitted to older models. For retro fitting, you would need to send your existing flysheet to us so that we can sew the Snow Valance to it.
