Description
The Solar Competition 1, updated in 2011 from the previously named Solar Competition, is a 1kg single person backpacking tent for year-round use, the Solar Competition 1 is a truly free-standing tent with a split-pole finish at the foot end for improved stability.

Using the same fabrics as our award winning Laser Competition 1, the Solar Competition 1 has a side entrance for easy access to the long porch and good ventilation thanks to mesh panels in the inner tent.

A fantastic superlite tent with a small footprint, the first true solo backpackers tent for travelling fast and light.

This tent is compatible with the Terra Nova FASTPACK system, allowing those who want to trim weight further when conditions permit, to use the flysheet and the fastpack groundsheet which is available separately.
