Description
The Homestead 10 has been re-designed for 2007 incorporating some of the features if the Halo range for even greater versatility. The new style combines the best features of last years large Homestead with the added benefit of an integral communal area.
The Homestead 102 sleeps 10 people, on airbeds, comfortably yet can sleep a further two in the living area. The true value of this tent, though, is the way the bedrooms are attached to the flysheet. One half of the tent features two separate bedrooms, while the other side is one, large inner which is draught free.
A clever zip arrangement allows this section to become one large bedroom or two smaller ones. During the day, part or all, of this section can be unzipped to create a larger living area, which is still waterproof.
The symmetrical layout is easy to pitch, as each pole is the same length and flysheet windows add to the sense of space in the communal area. Each off the inners will sleep their occupants on airbeds.
