"The Hoolie 2, 2 person tent offers a huge amount of space for its weight and pack-size. Its porch is larger than similar tents on the market, making it ideal for backpacking trips and group use - it’s a proven, popular model for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions.  The spacious tunnel design means the Hoolie 2 is also good for longer trips where campers might be looking for more comfort or for general campsite stays.
In addition to the space, the tunnel design also makes it quick and easy to pitch. The inner is attached to the flysheet, so the tent pitches ""as one"", and it has colour-coded poles to help novice campers locate the poles in their sleeves. This is a perfect tent for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants who should be able to pitch camp quickly at the end at the day whatever the weather.   The Hoolie 2 is rated for 3 season use, so spring to autumn weather conditions, and for those wanting to venture off the beaten track it’s suitable for wild camping as well as campsite trips.
This 2 person tent includes plenty of ventilation, with vents under the hoods at each end (front vent can be adjusted with the door zips) plus a mesh panel at the top of the inner door. It uses reliable lightweight Wild Country Superflex alloy poles and tried and tested Wild Country, high performance flysheet and groundsheet fabrics. Fully taped fly and groundsheets provide complete protection from the elements.
A footprint which sits under the inner and porch area to prolong the life of the tent and help keep it clean can be purchased separately.
Features: Spacious. External pole sleeves. Tent pitches as one. Wild Country Superlex alloy poles. Fully taped flysheet and groundsheet seams. Zip covers. Good ventilation. Alloy pegs. Coloured poles and matching pole sleeve ends and tapes. Reflective guylines. Reflective pole sleeve ends."

Review: Easy to pitch, good size, well made, not too heavy, great value! 12/08/15

I bought this for myself and my medium/large dog (but it would fit two adults comfortably). I wanted a sturdy tent (so the dog couldn't destroy it trying to make an unscheduled exit!) and one which was easy to pitch, as I've never pitched a tent on my own before. My other requirement was that the tent mustn't be too heavy as I don't have a car, I'm in my 60s and quite slight, and I knew the campsite was half an hour's walk from the train station. I would have loved an ultralight tent but wasn't sure how the dog would take to camping, so I did a lot of online research and decided on the Hoolie 2. I can't fault it. It took me 5 minutes to pitch and I didn't need to refer to the instructions. Everything about it is high quality - fabric, stitching, zip, poles and pegs - and it's withstood heavy rain and gusty wind without a wobble. The dog did try to batter his way out a couple of times but didn't manage to cause any damage. I love this tent! We will no doubt graduate to one of the ultralight tents as we both get older but this is going to last us for many years.
