Pitching Instructions

Voyager

The Voyager’s semi-geodesic design provides fantastic stability and plenty of space to accommodate 2 people with their kit. The freestanding tent is designed for the backpacker or traveller going on medium to long-duration trips and looking for a spacious lightweight kit.

  • Suitable for 4 season/year-round backpacking.
  • A great option for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions in more exposed areas.
  • The semi-geodesic design and inner first pitching make the Voyager more stable and quieter than a tunnel tent in windy conditions.
  • High-quality DAC, NFL, colour-coded poles make pitching quick and easy.
  • The inner door has a full midge-proof mesh panel with a solid door behind, to provide unlimited options for ventilation depending on weather conditions.
  • Tried and tested Terra Nova fabrics are used to provide excellent performance and unparalleled durability.
  • The Watershed nylon ripstop flysheet and Waterbloc nylon groundsheet are fully seam sealed to offer complete protection from the elements, all year round.
  • Dyneema reflective guylines add more stability and the tent comes with extra guyline attachment points should additional guylines be required. Dyneema guyrope is three times as strong as standard guyrope of the same weight and has very low stretch for stability in all conditions.

Clearance Options Available

Seconds: Products appearing with this grade are cosmetic seconds only. We do not offer any products with faults that may affect their performance or function.  Typically these faults are stitching faults (such as incorrect embroidery), incorrect fabric colours or dye migration. Seconds are not graded as they will not have been used.

Grade A: Items that have been used will be given a grade that reflects their general appearance and the amount of wear they show. Grade A items will not have been used outdoors but may show some signs of indoor use such as creasing or scuff marks.

Grade B: There will be signs of use and the item may have been used outdoors, but if so only for short periods of no more than a few days. Sleeping bags will not have been slept in. Tents may have been pitched in the wet, in which case they will be dried and packed correctly before entering the stock. Grade B items may have had minor repairs, however, the repair will not affect the performance of the product. As a repair would be specific to an individual tent, it is not possible to list these in the product description.

Free delivery is available for purchases made via the Terra Nova webshop with a total order value of £50 or more, delivered to a standard UK postcode.
