A great British expedition is being supported by a great British tent manufacturer. Derbyshire-based Terra Nova Equipment is set to support Steve Perry as he attempts the “Ultimate Land’s End to John O’Groats” expedition.
In addition to walking the 1000 miles of the famous route, Steve intends to set a new record by reaching the summit of every 3,000-foot-plus mountain along the way.
This will include 15 mountains in Snowdonia, four mountains in the Lakes and all 284 Scottish Munros.
To support him on the seven-month expedition, Terra Nova has provided Steven with a lightweight backpacking tent, the Solar.
The company is also supplying a sleeping bag and various Extremities clothing accessories. Steven is keen to use equipment that he can trust and commented:
