Hot off the shelf and already the Hoolie 2 tent by Wild Country has won its first award.

In the April issue of Trek & Mountain magazine, they gathered a number of 2 person tents together for a group test. The review compared a variety of affordable, 3-season tents on the market, and awarded the Hoolie 2 tent with the ‘Best in Test’ award. The Hoolie range has already been a real hit with both customers and retailers in 2013, and it’s great to see this brand new tent range has now been formally recognised as top of the crop in this latest magazine review.
The Hoolie tents utilise a tunnel design, with two poles that are identical, making it quick and easy to pitch for anyone. The inner is attached to the flysheet, so all you need to worry about is putting the poles through their sleeves, pegging out the guylines, and it’s pitched. With this twin pole design it offers lots of space for it’s weight and small pack size. It is available in three size’s, Hoolie 2, Hoolie 3 and Hoolie 4 and is ideal for backpacking, cycle touring and any other adventure from Spring to Autumn on lower ground.
Whether you are a first-time camper or an experienced adventurer, these tents won’t let you down. Because of it’s small pack size and low weight, it lends itself to a one-night wild camp or a week-long holiday equally well.
Ross Worthington from Trek & Mountain sums the tent up by stating,
“[This is] a well-priced and rugged 3-season tent with enough room and features. 9/10.”
