Ethical Trading Statement

We endeavor to meet high standards of ethical trading and responsible sourcing across the range of products sold by companies in the Hubaco group of which Terra Nova Equipment Ltd is a part.

We want our customers to be confident that the people who make our products work in safe conditions and are treated fairly, and we aim to manufacture products in a way that reduces the impact on the environment.

All our suppliers are required to comply with our Ethical Trading Statement, Environmental Policy Statement and Factory Code of Conduct contained in our supplier manual

This includes the following practices for workers from the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) base code:

• Employment is freely chosen without employee deposits
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are
• Respected
• Working conditions are safe and hygienic
• Child labour is prohibited
• Living wages are paid
• Working hours are not excessive
• No discrimination is practised
• Regular employment is provided
• No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed
