Voyager Tent Pitching Instructions
For over 25 years the Voyager tent has been a favourite for backpackers and trekkers for year-round camping due to its aerodynamic shape and semi-geodesic design. Read the Voyager tent pitching instructions below:
- Lay out the inner tent.
- Carefully assemble each of the 3 poles. Ensure all the joints are fully connected (all the poles are the same length).
- Using the diagram below, slide the poles through the pole sleeves on the inner tent as follows:
– Pole 1 (blue) diagonally between A and B, making sure the pre-curved section is at the back of the tent.
– Pole 2 (blue) diagonally between C and D, making sure the pre-curved section is at the back of the tent.
– Pole 3 (red) between E and F. - Insert each pole-end into the outermost eyelet of each inner eyelet tape. Tapes are colour-coded and located at points A to F on the diagram on the download link below.
- Throw flysheet over inner tent.
- Insert each pole-end into the corresponding eyelet tape on the hem of the flysheet, shown near points A to F on the diagram opposite.
- Peg out the tent.
The Voyager is supplied with the following:
- 3 x alloy poles (1 x red, 2 x blue)
- 12 x alloy pegs
