It uses the Superflex alloy pole and tried and tested Wild Country, high performance flysheet and groundsheet fabrics.

Brilliant little tent.
I have now used this for 2 extended hiking/camping/fishing trips in a very wild part of northern Scotland. It has endured gales and heavy rain as well as rare intervals of sunshine .Easy and quick to pitch as I leave the inner tent and footprint groundsheet attached so that when pitching on damp ground I have a totally dry shelter to get into.
I managed to pitch tent in under 5 minutes when faced with an impending storm
Sufficient storage space for backpack, fishing gear and my wellington boots.
Removing the end poles helps to make the tent a smaller package to fit into my backpack. An extra length of cord and a clothes peg enables the entrance door to be tied back when moving gear in/out.
I sewed a small mesh pocket inside to store a torch and my spectacles.
I was very impressed with the waterproof quality of the tent and minimal condensation .
A very important feature in nw Scotland was that it proved to be midge proof !
A very well made tent and highly recommended

I recently tested my newly purchased Zephyros 1 during several nights on Dartmoor in temperatures hovering around -3c and wind between 20 and 25mph. The Zephyros performed superbly (although, as with any single hoop design it can be quite rattly - ear plugs take care of that). I also replaced the supplied v pegs (I bent three on my first practice pitch) with titanium y-pegs and changed to cam cleats for the guys, which make getting a taught pitch (and a quieter night) much easier (total cost less than £20). That said, this "budget" tent performed beyond expectation and I had no difficulty with space despite being 6'2".
Two tips - a) removing the end poles (easy) makes packing much simpler and reduces packed size and
b) I found I got a better pitch by slackening the straps between the inner tent and fly before pitching and then tensioning to suit thereafter.

Overall, an excellent tent at a very affordable price. Well done Wild Country.

I tried to like this tent but I prefer my Aspect 1. I did not like the end short poles setup and was annoyed when their is only one spot when I can sit upright. In my Aspect 1 I can sit upright and move back and forth. I know its a good tent but its not really my type.
