At Terra Nova Equipment, it’s our ethos to help people get outdoors with kit that they can rely on. Whilst most businesses turn their attention to Black Friday, we’re looking to turn it green. Green Friday is all about sustainability and investing in things that make life fulfilling, worthwhile and beautiful.
However, encouraging everyone to get outdoors is only useful if they can afford the right kit. So, this Green Friday weekend, we’re offering the best deals on the best gear to help you enjoy the outdoors, without breaking the bank.
The great outdoors is our home, and we want to look after it. Whilst we’ve always created gear that stands the test of time and encouraged people to repair where possible, we’re continuously looking into ways that we can lower our carbon footprint. The Terra Nova spring/summer 2023 range is a step towards eradicating the use of PFCs from our DWR coatings by including PFC-Free breathable inner tent fabric. Some models will also use Si2 flysheet and groundsheet fabric that is completely PFC-free. Extremities also now include more eco-friendly materials including 100% post-consumer recycled fibres from PrimaLoft®, ECO headwear featuring Polylana® and GORE-TEX® recycled XCR.
Offering the best deals on the best kit this Green Friday is one thing, but giving back is another. That’s why we’ll be donating 5% of all profits from this Green Friday weekend to environmental charities. We’ll also be offering a huge 50% off all tent spares across our website to help revive your Terra Nova or Wild Country tent that may need some TLC.
Managing Director, Sylwester Wacht said: “We’re working tirelessly to develop more and more eco-friendly and sustainable products. However, there is a fine line between using the highest-quality materials and those that are more sustainable but also ensuring longevity in line with our award-winning products.
There’s no overnight fix but we’re taking the necessary steps to get to where we want to be and we’re proud to be able to donate 5% of all profits from the weekend to environmental charities.”
