2. The Programme
2.1 This is a non-exclusive arrangement. You are free to promote other brands, and we may work with other affiliates.
2.2 To join, submit an application. We will review it and notify you of acceptance or rejection within 30 days. We may ask for additional information or require you to complete certain steps before acceptance.
2.3 Acceptance into the Affiliate Programme does not guarantee acceptance into other collaborations with us.
3. Commission
3.1 Rate. The standard commission rate is 5% of the Customer Transaction value. We may vary this rate via the Affiliate Tool.
3.2 Coupon discount. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the default Affiliate Coupon discount is 10% off RRP.
3.3 First purchase only. Commission is payable on the first purchase a customer makes through your link or coupon. Subsequent purchases by the same customer do not qualify.
3.4 Cookie window. An Affiliate Lead must complete a purchase within the cookie window shown in the Affiliate Tool. If the customer clears their cookies during this period, we are not liable for lost tracking.
3.5 Payment. To receive payment you must have a valid, up-to-date payment method registered in the Affiliate Tool. We determine the payment currency and conversion rate. You are responsible for all applicable taxes and bank fees.
3.6 Forfeiture. If your payment details remain incomplete or invalid for six months following a Customer Transaction, commission on that transaction is permanently forfeited.

5. Voucher & Discount Code Rules
This section exists to protect the integrity of our brand and the programme. Breaches will be treated seriously.
5.1 Content-first requirement. Affiliate Links and Coupon Codes must be accompanied by original, substantive content (e.g. product reviews, trip reports, buyer’s guides). Pages or posts whose primary purpose is to promote a “Terra Nova Coupon” or “Wild Country Discount” without genuine editorial value are prohibited.
5.2 SEO restrictions. You must not optimise content to rank for “Brand Name + Coupon”, “Brand Name + Discount Code” or similar variations. This applies to page titles, H1 tags, meta descriptions, URL slugs, image alt text, and structured data.
5.3 No click-to-reveal tactics. “Click to reveal code” buttons or similar cookie-dropping mechanisms are prohibited unless the code is unique, valid and immediately visible on click.
5.4 No funnel interception. You must not use techniques designed to intercept customers already in our sales funnel. This includes:
5.5 Monitoring. We may audit your content and traffic sources at any time. You agree to provide reasonable access to analytics data on request.
5.6 Consequences. Breach of this section may result in immediate termination and removal from the programme.
6. Product Provision for Content
6.1 Eligibility. We may, at our sole discretion, provide product samples to Affiliates with a consistent track record of high-quality content aligned with our brand values. We assess this based on audience reach and engagement, content quality and relevance, programme compliance history, and alignment with our target demographics.
6.2 Loan basis. Unless a separate Content Creation & Product Exchange Agreement is signed, all products provided remain our property and are loaned for content creation purposes only. Products must be returned in Good Condition within 90 days of receipt.
6.3 Content expectations. If you receive product samples, you agree to:
6.4 Failure to comply. Failure to produce content or return products when required may result in an invoice for the full RRP, suspension, termination, and/or exclusion from future product provision.
6.5 Trade discount. Affiliates in Good Standing may purchase TNEL Products for personal use at up to 30% off RRP, subject to fair usage and stock availability. Trade discount purchases may not be resold.
6.6 No obligation. We are under no obligation to provide products to any Affiliate. Provision to one Affiliate does not create entitlement for others.
7. Trademarks & Intellectual Property
7.1 You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your trademarks and logos in connection with the programme.
7.2 If we make our trademarks available to you via the Affiliate Tool, you may use them strictly in connection with the programme, unaltered, and in compliance with our brand guidelines. You must stop using them immediately if we ask.
7.3 You must not use our trademarks in a misleading, disparaging or unlawful way, or in a way that implies we endorse your services or products.
7.4 We retain all ownership rights in TNEL Products and content. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works from our content except as expressly authorised.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will keep confidential any non-public commercial, technical or customer information shared under this agreement. Confidential information does not include anything already publicly known or independently developed. These obligations survive for three years after termination.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Both parties will comply with applicable data protection law, including UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and (where applicable) EU GDPR.
9.2 We act as data controller for personal data relating to Affiliate Leads and Customers. You act as an independent data controller for your own business data.
9.3 You will only share personal data with us where you have a lawful basis to do so, will not use any personal data we provide for purposes outside this agreement, and will notify us promptly of any actual or suspected data breach.
9.4 Where required by law, we will enter into a Data Processing Addendum.
10. Term & Termination
10.1 Duration. This agreement applies for as long as you participate in the programme, until terminated.
10.2 Termination without cause. Either party may terminate on 15 days’ written notice.
10.3 Termination for changes. If we update these terms, you may terminate on 5 days’ notice (provided you notify us within 10 days of the change).
10.4 Termination for cause. We may terminate immediately or on notice if:

10.6 On termination. You will immediately stop using our trademarks, remove all references to the programme from your sites, and delete or discontinue use of the Affiliate Tool.
11. Liability & Indemnity
11.1 You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your participation in the programme, your breach of this agreement, or your use of the Affiliate Tool.
11.2 Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the total commission you have actually earned in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11.3 We do not guarantee the availability of the Affiliate Tool and accept no liability for its unavailability.
11.4 Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. General
12.1 We may update this agreement at any time. Changes will be notified via the Affiliate Tool and/or email and take effect on the next business day.
12.2 This agreement is the entire agreement between us on this subject. No delay in exercising a right constitutes a waiver.
12.3 This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
