Laser Competition 1 Tent Pitching Instructions

These tent pitching instructions are for the Laser Competition 1. There are two versions of this tent, so depending on the age, it may be a model with the end poles on the inside of the flysheet or on the outside.

Laser Competition 1 with the end poles on the inside of the flysheet

1. Unpack tent and layout flysheet and inner (Note: The inner tent is already attached to the inside of the flysheet).
2. Carefully assemble the alloy pole. Ensure all the joints are fully connected.
3. Slide pole through flysheet pole sleeve.
4. Insert each pole-end into the corresponding eyelet tab on the hem of the flysheet.
5. Peg out in the following order:

i) Tape attached to each end of the inner.
ii) Guy rope at each end of the flysheet (the carbon fibre poles should slope out slightly at the top).
iii) Remaining inner and flysheet tapes and elastics.

Note: A pole sleeve cover is provided with the Laser Competition. Attach by tying to the webbing loop at the pole base and loops sewn into the pole sleeve.

The Laser Competition 1 is supplied with:

• 1 x alloy pole
• 2 x black carbon fibre poles
• 10 x alloy pegs

Laser Competition 1 with the tent poles on the outside of the flysheet

1. Unpack tent and lay out flysheet and inner (the inner tent is already attached to the inside of the flysheet).
2. Carefully assemble the alloy poles. Ensure all the joints are fully connected.
3. Slide long pole through the flysheet pole sleeve.
4. Insert short poles between the pocket under the hood and hem eyelet.
5. Peg out in the following order:

i) Guy cord at each end
ii) Remaining inner and flysheet elastics/guys

Note: A Pole sleeve cover is provided with the Laser Competition. Attach by tying to the webbing loop at the pole base and loops sewn into the pole sleeve.

The Laser Competition 1 is supplied with:

• 1 x long alloy pole
• 2 x short alloy pole
• 10 x alloy pegs

The Laser Competition 1 is no longer available. We recommend the Laser Compact 1.
