Chris Townsend, leading outdoor expert and author of various award-winning hiking and backpacking books, reviewed Extremities Furnace Pro Gloves in and around the Cairngorms. Tested throughout winter, spring and autumn, the gloves have been put to the test in cold, wet, windy, and even snowy conditions.
Awarded a total of 4.5 stars, Chris Townsend stated that ‘the gloves are soft, flexible and have better dexterity than stiffer ones. The touchscreen pads on the forefinger and thumb are quite easy to use. The palms and the tips of the first finger and thumb are reinforced with PU to minimise wear with trekking poles or ice axes.’
