In everything we do at Terra Nova, we ensure two boxes are ticked every time: The performance is top tier & it’s made responsibly & sustainably – and that’s exactly what we’ve done with our TriPlex™ fabric.

When designing our TriPlex™ fabric, we didn’t just want to create a high performing shelter fabric that keeps the user protected from the environment, we also needed to think the new mission: keeping the environment protected from the user.
That’s why we’ve implemented a variety of technologies such as solution dyeing & PFC-Free coating as well as utilising recycled Polyester ripstops, all to keep the performance high and the cost on the planet low.
The “triple” of TriPlex™ comes from the triple ripstop construction. Using recycled Polyester we’ve created 30D ripstop grid to create a fabric with impressive tensile strength & tear resistance.
The tensile strength of TriPlex™ doesn’t just come down to the ripstops – we’ve used a hybrid construction of 20D Nylon & 30D Polyester. Nylon has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio as well as great natural tear resistance.
