For over forty years, Terra Nova gear has been to the places that test it hardest: first ascents in the Karakoram, crossings of the Patagonian ice cap, four months on Ellesmere Island, the summit of Everest and back. Our archive isn’t marketing. It’s a record of what our tents, shelters and clothing have actually survived, written by the people who were there.

We support a small number of expeditions each year, and we’re honest about what earns our backing. The trips we get behind tend to share a few things: a clear, specific objective rather than a general adventure; a team with real experience and a track record we can look up; and a plan for telling the story afterwards
The form below is how we’d like to hear from you. It takes a little time to fill in properly, and that’s deliberate; the detail you give us is exactly what we use to decide. Please send everything through the form rather than by separate email; it keeps every application in one place and gives us a fair read.
We review applications in batches, so it may be a while before you hear back, and we’re only able to follow up with the expeditions we can support. If that’s yours, we’ll be in touch.
