The Laser Compact 1 is the small pack size version of the classic single person tent, the Laser Competition 1, winner of multiple Best In Test awards. Pack size just 30cm long.
The Laser Compact 1 is designed for backpackers, travellers and cyclists looking for tried and tested kit. When the Laser design was released in 2004 it sparked a remarkable trend for lightweight tent development and the Laser design became the de-facto standard for lightweight tents. With a good balance of durability and very low weight, this tent is suitable for medium-duration backpacking trips, perfect for spring to autumn weather conditions.
End of Line: This is a brand-new product that has either been discontinued or updated and is a predecessor to the new version.
Seconds: Products appearing with this grade are cosmetic seconds only. We do not offer any products with faults that may affect their performance or function. Typically these faults are stitching faults (such as incorrect embroidery), incorrect fabric colours or dye migration. Seconds are not graded as they will not have been used.
Grade A: Items that have been used will be given a grade that reflects their general appearance and the amount of wear they show. Grade A items will not have been used outdoors but may show some signs of indoor use such as creasing or scuff marks.
Grade B: There will be signs of use and the item may have been used outdoors, but if so only for short periods of no more than a few days. Sleeping bags will not have been slept in. Tents may have been pitched in the wet, in which case they will be dried and packed correctly before entering the stock. Grade B items may have had minor repairs, however, the repair will not affect the performance of the product. As a repair would be specific to an individual tent, it is not possible to list these in the product description.

⛺ National Park Authorities to be given the power to create wild camping zones to help manage responsible wild camping and tackle fly camping
🏕️ Guidance on how to wild camp responsibly to be included within an updated version of the @thecountrysidecode
⛺ Additional funding for National Parks, National Landscapes, and land managers to support responsible wild camping in the right place
🏕️ A substantial new investment in young people`s outdoor education to help improve understanding and skills needed to wild camp responsibly
