Unpack & Inspect: Set up your tent fully to check for any damage, missing parts, or wear and tear.
- Clean Thoroughly: Use lukewarm water and a mild, non-detergent soap to gently clean the tent fabric. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage waterproof coatings.
- Dry Completely: Ensure your tent is completely dry before packing it away to prevent mould and mildew growth.
- Check Seams & Zippers: Inspect all seams for signs of peeling or leaks. Test zippers for smooth operation and apply a lubricant if necessary.
- Reproof if Needed: If water no longer beads on the fabric, consider applying a suitable waterproofing treatment to restore its effectiveness.
