Terra Nova Bothy Bags are a lightweight and compact emergency shelter with excellent features. Every group, expedition and single outdoor user should have one, they create a microclimate for escaping from the elements.
These are products that have been graded by our factory.
Used by mountain leaders, rescue organisations, backcountry skiers and canoe guides all over the world, these indispensable lightweight emergency shelters allow the users to create a microclimate that is warm and dry – perfect for map reading, group discussions or even as a morale-booster for wet lunch breaks. Bothy bags come in a range of sizes and feature clear windows, mesh vents and roof sockets which can house walking poles for additional support.

Seconds: Products appearing with this grade are cosmetic seconds only. We do not offer any products with faults that may affect their performance or function. Typically these faults are stitching faults (such as incorrect embroidery), incorrect fabric colours or dye migration. Seconds are not graded as they will not have been used.
Grade A: Items that have been used will be given a grade that reflects their general appearance and the amount of wear they show. Grade A items will not have been used outdoors, but may show some signs of indoor use such as creasing or scuff marks.
Grade B: There will be signs of use and the item may have been used outdoors, but if so only for short periods of no more than a few days. Sleeping bags will not have been slept in. Tents may have been pitched in the wet, in which case they will be dried and packed correctly before entering the stock. Grade B items may have had minor repairs, however, the repair will not affect the performance of the product. As a repair would be specific to an individual tent, it is not possible to list these in the product description.

Clearance products are NOT subject to our extended guarantee, however, your statutory rights do still apply. Our clearance grading system and pricing reflect the condition of the products listed. Expectations of performance and product life should be held in accordance with this.
Shipping costs are calculated by the website based on the items in your cart and the delivery address. Simply add items to your basket and proceed to checkout, once you have added your shipping address, the total will update to reflect any shipping costs.
Free delivery is available for purchases made via the Terra Nova webshop with a total order value of £50 or more, delivered to a standard UK postcode. Some remote UK postcodes may be excluded from this promotion. International orders (outside of the UK) and orders made by telephone are excluded from the free shipping promotion.
Shipping:We will endeavour to ship your goods within 48 hours of receipt of your order, however, at particularly busy times of the year or during UK public holidays it may take longer. Some items are made to order and therefore will be marked on the website with an approximate lead time.
