The simplest and lightest form of shelter is a tarp and they are great for those wanting more of a lightweight adventure, sleeping under the stars.

This is the larger version of the Adventure Tarps and features reinforced eyelets, webbing tapes for multiple set up options and uses our tried and tested Wild Country tent fabric, Stormtex P4000. This waterproof option works perfectly with our Survival bivi to offer a great value, low weight shelter for the first timer.

Hoolie Green is the same colour green as the Hoolie tent range ie light green.

Zephyros Green is the same colour green as the Zephyros tent range ie dark green.

A smaller version is available as the Adventure Tarp 1.

We tested this tarp as a family while bivvying, using it as a groundsheet and in several different configurations as an overhead shelter. It's a strong workhorse of a tarp, big enough to get three or four of us under when rigged. It feels strong and durable and while it packs down small it weighs more and takes up more space in your sack than the more expensive options. Good budget choice though.
