Pioneer 2 Lite Footprint

The Pioneer 2 Footprint provides additional protection by sitting under the groundsheet and porch area by attaching to the tent peg out points using shock cord loops. Although we are confident that our Terra Nova products will outperform any similar groundsheet fabric available, we recommend the use of a footprint to provide increased protection against sharp objects.

The Pioneer Lite 2 combines a compact 2-pole structure with excellent interior space, improved ventilation, and greater pitching flexibility for use in challenging conditions.

At the core of its performance is the TriPlex™ flysheet, constructed from recycled, solution-dyed, PFC-free fabric. This high-performance material delivers excellent durability and weather resistance while supporting a lower environmental impact. The inner, groundsheet, and included footprint are also fully recycled and PFC-free, reinforcing Terra Nova’s commitment to sustainable design without compromising performance.

The Pioneer Lite 2 features a large porch, offering increased storage space with the Terra Nova FexiPorch feature. This allows an adjustable layout to suit different conditions and gear loads. Dual side-entry doors provide easy access for two occupants and can be adapted into awning-style setups using walking poles, creating additional sheltered space when needed.

Ventilation and comfort are significantly improved through the addition of a fully removable rain cap and updated door venting options, allowing for better airflow in all weather conditions. Adjustable tension points enable precise pitching, ensuring stability in exposed environments, while reflective Dyneema guylines enhance visibility and security in low light.

Designed for adaptability, the Pioneer Lite 2 offers multiple configurations, from a fully protected setup using the included footprint, to a stripped-back ultralight option at just 1.5kg.
