Overview

Beschrijving

One of the lightest two-person, self-supporting tents available, designed for adventures where every gram counts.

Weighing in at an impressive trail weight of 852g, the Solar Photon is ideal for shorter trips and minimalist backpacking. Experience an exceptional balance of packability, strength, weather protection and living space. High-quality DAC aluminium poles deliver outstanding strength and reliability for their weight.

Innovative design details enhance both durability and comfort. AiroCorner™ technology at the rear eliminates traditional stitched corner seams to reduce leak risk, while spreading tension over a wider area to improve structural strength. Front and rear fly hoods provide excellent ventilation, helping to manage condensation and maintain a comfortable inner environment. The TriPlex™ groundsheet is triple ripstop 20D nylon/30D Poly and provides a 3000mm HH.

On top of being ultralight & high performing, the Solar Photon is also sustainably designed using a solution-dyed & PFC-free groundsheet, a PFC-free & and recycled flysheet plus a recycled inner, ensuring reduced environmental impact without compromising performance.

Compatible with PitchLite technology, this is a ground-tape pitching system to enable flysheet-only setups for the lightest and most adaptable configurations. Also FastPack compatibility, allowing the use of just the flysheet and groundsheet protector for ultra-light trips.

TriPlex™ 20 Denier Nylon/Poly ripstop fabric for the groundsheet fabric
15 Denier Nylon Ripstop fabric for the flysheet to create a stable, lightweight tent
2000mm HH on the flysheet & 3000mm HH on the groundsheet
Featuring front and rear fly hoods for great ventilation
PitchLite technology, ground-tape pitching system for a flysheet only pitch
FastPack compatible – use just the flysheet and groundsheet protector for an even lighter shelter
5.6g alloy pegs for increased anchoring

Guarantee

Lifetime Guarantee

Loading... is covered by a lifetime guarantee offering long‑term reassurance to the original owner for the usable life of the product. This refers to the period during which the item can reasonably deliver the performance it was designed for - something that naturally varies depending on how it is used, the conditions it is exposed to and the care it receives. A product used frequently in demanding environments will naturally have a shorter lifespan than one used occasionally and well maintained. For this reason, we assess each case individually rather than applying a fixed timeframe. While this guarantee covers all Terra Nova products, tent and bivi poles are excluded, as they are protected under our dedicated No‑Quibble Alloy Pole Guarantee

Two-Year Pole Guarantee

Every alloy pole supplied with Terra Nova and Wild Country tents or bivis is covered by our No‑Quibble Pole Guarantee. For two years from the date of purchase, we will replace any damaged pole - regardless of the cause, including unforeseen mishaps or accidental damage. This straightforward, hassle‑free policy ensures you can rely on your equipment with confidence, knowing that any tent or bivi pole issue will be resolved quickly so your adventures can continue uninterrupted.
